I've been procrastinating writing this for close to a year but I would AVOID this shop at all costs if you don't want to get SCAMMED for thousands of dollars. I dropped off my 2006 Nissan 350Z at Airpark Auto Pros for a simple oil change on 10/03/2023, expecting routine service. A day later, my car started acting strange and automatically shut off on my way to work. When I brought it back, they ended up keeping my car for over a month and a half—I finally got it back on 11/22/2023. During this time, I was charged $5,596.51 for multiple repairs, only to be told at the very end that my engine needed to be replaced. They quoted me an outrageous $7,505.42 for a used engine and $12,016.84 for a remanufactured one! A quick online search shows that engines for my car typically cost between $1,300-$2,000 at most. After much frustration, they eventually refunded $3,181.91 of the amount I paid. However, they claimed they couldn’t refund the whole amount because my vehicle came to their shop not being able to start. Which is insanity because they had me spend $2,480.50 just to get my car to start again—only for it to be completely undrivable in the end and tell me I have to replace the engine. I ended up towing my car to a different mechanic. Within a day, he diagnosed the issue, and replaced my engine within less then week for 3000$. The difference in service and expertise was night and day. I feel completely taken advantage of and cannot believe the lack of professionalism and transparency from Airpark Auto Pros. I would not trust them with any vehicle—save yourself the headache and go somewhere reputable.
